AICN claims that Marvel already has a teaser trailer for the super hero team up pic with plans to premiere it in front of either "Thor" out May 6th or July 22nd's Captain America: The First Avenger
According to the site, the trailer confirms that the brother of Thor (Chris Hemsworth) Loki (Tom Hiddleston) will be the main villain.
Loki will likely get his hands on the Cosmic Cube, to be seen in "Captain America: The First Avenger", and uses it to bring the shape shifting alien race The Skrulls to invade Earth.
How The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo Lou Ferrigno) will fit in with this story remains a mystery though it has been rumoured Loki will brainwash him - an action that causes The Avengers to assemble early in the film
We shall see what happens...
