Gotti Biopic Takes A Hit

John Travolta. recently  that the 'Gotti' Movie Is America's 'Most Interesting Untold Story'...That very well may be true but getting the mob biopic to the big screen is also proving to a chalenge.

John Gotti who took over the powerful Gambino crime family in the 70's, was convicted in 1992 of committing thirteen murders. The film will likely explore that through the eyes of his son John A. Gotti Jr.

Variety reports that Gotti: Three Generations director Nick Cassavetes has parted ways with the production due to a scheduling conflict with the indie film Yellow



Producers are seeking a new director and remain on track to go into production in the fall.

Joe Pesci is set to play Angelo Ruggiero while Lindsay Lohan is currently in talks to play Victoria Gotti.

Kim Kardashian reportedly met with producers about appearing the the upcoming biopic as Kim Gotti, John Gotti's daughter-in-law.The studio wanted to nab James Franco to play the younger Gotti-no word yet if that's still the case. Leo Rossi is writing the screenplay
