Hugh In The Hunt

Hugh Jackman has been offered the Huntsman role in  Snow White and the Huntsman now that The Wolverine is delayed says Deadline.

In this version of  the classic fairy tale the story expands the role of the Huntsman. When the evil queen Ravenna orders him to take her stepdaughter Snow White into the woods and kill her, Huntsman Eric instead lets her go and becomes something of a mentor who teaches her how to fight and survive

Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron. (They play Snow White and the evil queen, respectively.) headline the Rupert Sanders -directed project which Hossein Amini is going to do some script work from Evan Daugherty's draft before production begins mid-September.

Viggo Mortensen was previously attached to the role but left the pic for reasons unknown.

Meanwhile  David Slade and Duncan Jones have been mentioned as potential replacements for Darren Aronofsky on "The Wolverine" when things get up and running again.

Sad over the Wolvie delay But Hugh would make a fine fit in Huntsman
