Anne Meredith (Cavedweller) wrote the script which is described as a contemporary version of Lawrence Kasdan's excellent 1983 film The Big Chill, with longtime friends reconnecting.
Casting gets underway soon however there are no plans for Ryan to act in the film
Wendy Finerman and Nathalie Marciano will produce the pic.
Shooting kicks off in September in New York state.
