Al Pacino and writer/director Barry Levinson are re-teaming for their third project caled The Humbling. reports Deadline.
An adaptation of the Philip Roth novel the story centers on a famous New York stage actor (Pacino) who is rejuvenated by retiring to his upstate New York farm and shacking up with random women.
Levinson, Buck Henry and Michael Zebede adapted the screenplay. Casting is expected to begin shortly.
Shooting would kick off in the Fall. The film will be shot before Al and Barry do Gotti: Three Generations, They also made the teleniopic You Don't Know Jack.
