Based on Rebecca Serle's debut novel--When You Were Mine--A contemporary high school-set take on "Romeo and Juliet" in which Collins would play Rose whose boyfriend Rob (Franco) is stolen by her cousin and best friend Juliet (Woll) who is rumoured to have suicidal tendencies.
Collins replaces the once attached Hailee Steinfeld
The film will be directed by Michael Sucsy using an adapted script penned by Scott Neustadter and Michael H. Weber.
Shawn Levy will produce the film.
