Cooper Replaces Clive In "Cities"

Dominic Cooper is in final talks to replace Clive Owen in Roger Donaldson's international thriller "Cities" says Variety.

The story takes place in the months before the Dow Jones stock-market high and intertwines the stories of characters around the globe, including a New York hedge fund manager, a Mumbai police officer and a couple house-hunting in London.

Orlando Bloom, Kirsten Dunst and Anil Kapoor also star.

Cooper's involvement here means that he'll probably pass on the Albert Hughes' revenge thriller "Motor City" which he's been linked to.

Matthew Metcalfe and Chris Curling are producing the pic.

Production is scheduled to begin in the spring in London, Mumbai and New York.
