Nick Offerman has joined the untitled Diablo Cody directorial debut aka Lamb of God says Deadline.
The story centers on a sheltered young woman (Julianne Hough) who loses her faith after a plane crash and goes to Las Vegas, where she meets an unlikely companion (Russell Brand).
Octavia Spencer will play card dealer at a casino on the strip where Brand works. Holly Hunter plays Hough's evangelical mom from hell in the pic.
It's not known what role Offerman will play in the film
Cody wrote the script.
Mason Novick will produce the pic.
Shooting will kick off come Spring.
