Based upon author José Saramago's novel entitled "The Double", which follows a dysfunctional history teacher (Jake Gyllenhaal) who accidentally discovers his exact double on a rented DVD, seeks him out and ends up turning both of their lives upside down.
Javier Gullón wrote the adapted script
"Incendies" director Denis Villeneuve will make this film before taking on the "Prisoners" which stars Hugh Jackman
Niv Fichman and Miguel Angel Faura will produce.
Production begins next week in Toronto.
