Universal Pictures originally planned to continue the franchise by featuring two more films with Kristen Stewart as Snow White, then a spin-off with Hemsworth alone. Due to Stewart's troubles for cheating on Robert Pattinson with the film’s director, Rupert Sanders, the studio is scrapping the current draft for the sequel, and “exploring options to continue the franchise” –with or without Stewart, at least for now. And add that "no decision has been made."
No word yet on Sanders' involvement with the sequel either, but a source close to The Hollywood Reporter claims he will return to helm the pic,
