Danielle Bisutti has joined the horror sequel "Insidious Chapter Two" says Variety.
Patrick Wilson, Rose Byrne, Lin Shaye, Ty Simpkins Leigh Whannell Angus Sampson and Barbara Hershey will also reprise their roles in the film which James Wan, who directed Insidious, will call action from a script written by Whannell who also wrote the first film.
The original revolved around a young boy, who has become possessed by an evil spirit. The sequel will reportedly have flashbacks of various characters in the film that lead up to the events in the first installment.
Bisutti will portray Michelle, no further character details were given.
Jocelin Donahue ("The End of Love," "The House of the Devil") will play the young version of Hershey's Lorraine Lambert character. Andrew Astor also stars,
Made for just $1.5 million, the film went on to bring in over $150 million worldwide.
Jason Blum will return to produce.
Brian Kavanaugh-Jones, Oren Peli , Steven Schneider, and Charles Layton are executive producing.
Production is underway in Los Angeles to hit theaters on August 30th.
