Ólafur Darri Ólafsson Cares For The "Tombstones"

Ólafur Darri Ólafsson has joined the cast of the thriller "A Walk Among the Tombstones" says Variety.


Based on the novel by author Lawrence Block, the story follows ex-NYPD officer (Liam Neeson) turned private investigator Matthew Scudder who is hired to find the kidnapped wife of a drug dealer. He soon finds out the perpetrators have done this before, resulting in several murders.

Olafsson will portray a groundskeeper at a cemetery unknowingly embroiled in a killer's violent plans.

Downton Abbey's Dan Stevens Boyd Holbrook ("The Host") and Ruth Wilson also star.

Scott Frank wrote the adapted script from which he will direct.

Michael Shamberg, Stacey Sher, and Danny DeVito are producing.

Production begins later this month in New York.
