Cage Looses His "Wrath"

Last Fall came word that actor Nicolas Cage and director William Friedkin were going to team on the revenge thriller called I Am Wrath".

The story would see Cage play a man whose wife is murdered. He sets out for vengeance against both the killers and a corrupt police department.

Attending the Berlin International Film Festival , Cage told The Playlist that the pic fell apart: "'I Am Wrath' is not going ahead, but not because of Billy [Friedkin-- other issues came out of the whole process… Billy knows how important he is to me. It didn’t work on that one, for whatever reason, but I’m hopeful that one day it’ll happen… I have no doubt that Friedkin and I would get up to something special."
