Negahban Says Words Sees Pictures

Navid Negahban, best known for playing the terrorist Abu Nazir in the cable series "Homeland", has joined the indie drama "Words and Pictures" says THR.

In the story Negahban will play the headmaster at a New England prep school where a charismatic English teacher (Clive Owen) and a guarded art teacher (Juliette Binoche) form an unlikely bond, that is later complicated by romance.

Gerald Di Pago wrote the screenplay from which Fred Schepisi will direct.

Curtis Burch will produce.

Production begins in mid-March in Vancouver.
