Albert Brooks will be the voice of Marlin in the sequel "Finding Nemo 2" says Deadline.
A follow up to the much-loved 2003 animation was announced last year with original co-director Andrew Stanton calling action once more. He’s co-writing the script with Victoria Strouse. Details of the plot are currently under wraps,
Finding Nemo, made more than $800m worldwide during its original theatrical run and won the Academy Award for best animated film,
It centres on a hunt by fretful clownfish Marlin (voiced by Brooks) for his lost son Nemo. The pensive dad meets Dory (Ellen DeGeneres who will also return), a naive but optimistic Regal Tang fish with short-term memory loss.
The sequel is set for a 2016 release.
