Johnny Depp's peeps have come forward via Screen Daily to end chatter and confirm the actor's next three films.
First up is "Transcendence," the directorial debut of "The Dark Knight" cinematographer Wally Pfister. Production begins in April.
Depp will then star in the crime thriller "Black Mass". The film follows South Boston criminal James "Whitey" Bulger, (Depp) who was betrayed by the FBI after he became an informant to bring down a rival crime family. Bulger was captured in June 2011 in Santa Monica following a 16-year manhunt. Barry Levinson will begin shooting the biopic in the Summer.
Depp will do press for Disney's take on "The Lone Ranger" between these two projects.
Once he wraps 'Mass', it's expected he will then go into production on "Pirates of the Caribbean 5 " either at the end of the year, or early next year ahead of its circled July 2015 release.
