Hathaway Will Sing Again In "Song One"

British tabby The Daily Mail reports that Anne Hathaway has joined the cast of the musical "Song One" which includes a song especially written for her to sing.

Hathaway stars as an archaeologist returning to the US following a dig in Morocco where her brother is injured. She soon falls for her brother’s favorite musician, a rock star (British singer-actor Johnny Flynn).

Kate Barker-Froyland is writing the script from which she will direct.

Johnathan Rice and Jenny Lewis are writing songs for Flynn to perform, but one track will be reserved for Hathaway.

Anne's husband Adam Shulman will produce the pic. She is of course belting out a few songs for director Tom Hooper's adaptation of Les Miserables in theaters now.

Production hopes to begin later this year
