Reilly And Letts Think "Love Is Strange"

Kelly Reilly ("Flight) and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Tracy Letts have joined the cast of the Ira Sachs-directed indie drama "Love Is Strange" says THR.

Much like his acclaimed semi-autobiographical drama "Keep the Lights On," the story explores the romantic ups and downs of a gay relationship--except that "Strange" deals with an older, married couplple (Michael Gambon and Alfred Molina). The pair play longtime partners forced to live separately after their New York City wedding.

Reilly and Letts play a married Park Slope couple whose relationship is turned upside down when their elderly uncle (Gambon) is forced to move in with them.

Sachs and his 'Lights' co-writer Mauricio Zacharias wrote the script.

Sachs, Lucas Joaquin, Lars Knudsen and Jay Van Hoy will produce.

Production starts this Summer.
