In the film, Christian Bale will play a financial con man forced to work with an ambitious FBI agent (Cooper) to take down other crims, gangsters and politicians. Amy Adams will play his mistress, and Jeremy Renner will play the leader of the New Jersey state assembly. Louis CK will play an FBI agent.
Lawrence will play Bale's wife.
Russell and Eric Singer are writing the script.
Megan Ellison, Charles Roven, Richard Suckle and Ted Schipper will produce the film
Lawrence and Cooper will be seen together again later this year in Susanne Bier's upcoming drama "Serena."
