Sewell Is Dad To "Helen"

Rufus Sewell ("Dark City," "A Knight's Tale")  will star in Irish filmmaker Virginia Gilbert's child abuse drama "Helen" says Variety.

In the film Sewell plays a Paris divorced forty year-old man who lives with his twelve year-old daughter Helen. One day, the girl announces that her mother's new husband has molested her.

Production takes place this summer.

Gilbert is in post on her first film, the romantic drama "A Long Way From Home".
