Hemsworth Takes Mann's Cyber Thriller

"Thor" star Chris Hemsworth is teaming with "Heat" and "Collateral" director Michael Mann on an untitled thriller says Variety.

The plot deets are scarce at this point. All we know is that the pic will deal with the world of cyber threats and attacks.

Mann is co-writing the script with Morgan Davis Foehl (Mass Effect) and has been deve.loping the project for over a year. Thomas Tull and Jon Jashni are producing the movie.

This will be Mann's first directing effort since 2009's "Public Enemies".

Hemsworth is free since Steven Spielberg put the sci-fi film Robopocalypse on hold indefinitely and "Snow White and the Huntsman 2" is moving at a snail's pace at best.
