THR reports that Johnny Depp has filmed a cameo for the black comedy murder mystery adaptation "London Fields".
Based on British author Martin Amis' book, the story follows an hypnotic and clairvoyant femme fatale (Amber Heard) in London's underworld who sets a plan in motion to fulfill the prophecy of her own murder. Her web entangles a terminally ill writer (Billy Bob Thornton), a street hustler (Jim Sturgess) and an unhappily married banker (Theo James). The writer convinces her to let him document her manipulations in a book.
Jaimie Alexander ("Thor") plays a character named 'Hope'.
Depp has reportedly already shot his appearance, filming when he had down time for his commitments to Rob Marshall's "Into the Woods" and David Koepp's "Mortdecai".
Mathew Cullen's calling action using an adapted script by Amis and Roberta Hanley.
"Elizabeth" and "The Four Feathers" director Shekhar Kapur, Michael Winterbottom and David Cronenberg have been previously attached to call action.
Chris Hanley, Jordan Gertner and Geyer Kosinski will produce the film.
Production got underway last month in London ahead of a late 2014 release.
