21st Century Fox will release an extended cut of Bryan Singer's "X-Men Days of Future Past" next year,
Executive producer Lauren Shuler Donner tweeted last month that a longer cut of the movie would be released later this year, one likely to feature the subplot about Anna Paquin's Rogue that got cut.
Fox's Marketing Communications EVP James Finn recently confirmed via Twitter than an extended edition would be released, but not until 2015, which means the cut contained in the upcoming Digital HD/Blu-ray release will be the film's theatrical cut.
Asked for further details about the extended edition, he simply said "Soon".
The theatrical cut of the movie will hit Digital HD and VOD on September 23rd ahead of a Blu-ray disc release on October 14th.
