Oscars: 2015 Nominations & More

The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences have announced the nominees for 2015 at a special two-part live news conference at the Samuel Goldwyn Theater in Beverly Hills.


 Actor Chris Pine, Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs, and directors Alfonso Cuarón and J.J. Abrams woke up very early to spread the news.

 Both "Birdman" and The Grand Budapest Hotel" lead the pack with nine nominations each.
