Hogan's Hero

Ben Affleck is in negotiations to be a triple threat for his next flick...He would star in, direct and rewrite the script for "The Town" says Variety.

Based on Chuck Hogan's novel called "Prince of Thieves" telling the the darkly romantic-comedy tale of s a high-tension love triangle between a female bank manager, a longtime thief who stole more than her heart and a rival FBI agent trying to catch the crook and his gang before they can strike again thus winning the gal.

Events will be set in the Boston suburb of Charlestown close to where Affleck's directorial debut "Gone Baby Gone" took place.

Peter Craig and Hogan adapted the early script while Adrian Lyne was previously attached to direct.

Doing one of those tasks on a film is hard eough-but 3!! Stretched Too Thin? We'll see...
