Susan Sarandon and Richard Dreyfuss have signed on to join the comedic ensemble thriller "Leaves of Grass" according to The Hollywood Reporter.Edward Norton plays the dual role of twin brothers, one an Ivy League philosophy professor, the other a small-time and brilliant marijuana grower. The professor is lured back to his Oklahoma hometown for a plan to nab against a local drug lord (Dreyfuss) that unravels his life.
Sarandon plays the brothers' eccentric mother..Keri Russell is negotiating to play the love interest..
Actor-turned-filmmaker Tim Blake Nelson wrote and will direct the $10-14 million project in which he also plays the best friend to one of the brothers.
The cast is solid and could produce some on screen fun...
Shooting is scheduled to begin September 22nd in Shreveport, Louisiana.
