Strouse will write and direct an indie comedy called The Winning Season says VarietyThe film tells the tale of a divorced, down-on-his-luck high school girls basketball coach (Sam Rockwell pictured) who makes a bid for redemption by coaching the team his daughter is on.
The film begins production next month in New York.
