Martial arts actor/director Stephen Chow will not only call the shots but also star as sidekick Kato in "The Green Hornet" film according to the. LA Times.Seth Rogen stars as Hornet--and collaborated with Evan Goldberg on the script about a masked crime fighter. Bruce Lee played Kato in a short-lived 60's TV series.
Chow's 2004 Kung fu Hustle was a modest success and if the Hornet flick has more of a comedic bent...He makes a fine choice on both fronts.
A June 25th 2010 release is planned.
