The team behind " The Day The Earth Stood Still " '08 remake are back at work in Downey, California pounding out re shoots say the folks over at IESB.Net.
Their source tells the site that filming is 'rather extensive' and will go on for a full week with speculation for the extra shoot may be taking place to accommodate the recent news of an IMAX release for the film .
Keanu Reeves and Jennifer Connelly have been called back to the set as well.
The film is still set to land on December 12th in both conventional theaters and in IMAX.
A larger screen for a remake that's not called for...I was sorta behind this one and then felt different once I heard about the new angle.
Sheesh!
FOX will premiere an extended scene from "TDTESS" just before the TV encore of the series premiere of "Fringe" this Sunday at 8pm EST...Hmmm...
