We still don't know who will play the title rile in the comic book flick The First Avenger: Captain America...But news from the Heat Vision Blog says that Hugo Weaving is circling the villain Red Skull!
Weaving is no stranger to comic book pics (V For Vendetta) or playing the baddie...Weaving is not yet locked in--but given that director Joe Johnston worked with him on The Wolfman the odds are good that the suits can get it done
The villainous character first appeared in the comics in 1941 when he engaged in espionage and sabotage as Adolf Hitle's right-hand man.
I hope they sign Weaving because he make an exciting fit--If things don't work out though they can always see if recent Oscar winner Christoph Waltz is free.
