Orange Grove Groove

Adam Brody Alia Shawkat (Whip It!), and Allison Janney (Juno) are in negotiations to join the indie family dramedy Oranges says The Hollywood Reporter.

Hugh Laurie plays a man who engages in a romantic relationship with the daughter (Leighton Meester) of a family friend. Brody plays the son of Laurie's character who also falls for Meester's character.

Catherine Keener and Janney play Brody's mother and Meester's mother.While Shawkat is in talks to play Brody's sister.

Jay Reiss and Ian Helfer wrote the script.
