Reports that Natalie Portman had been offered the lead role in Alfonso Cuaron's sci-fi epic Gravity....And then came an MTV News post saying Portman was also attached to star in a biopic about singer Jerry Lee Lewis ..That report has the person wanting her in the pic director Terrence Malick with Brad Pitt to star as Lewis.
Portman's peeps have shot down all reports.
As far as "Gravity", the rep tells Techland the report is not only "very premature" but "a lot of the information is inaccurate. Everything is pretty much just rumored."
She added "We did not announce anything this morning in relation to Gravity" and thinks much of the positive buzz around Portman's performance in "Black Swan" has been fanning the flames. [which is exactly what I said on Tues!]
As for the Lewis biopic the rep says this was the first time she heard of Portman co-starring in any movie with Pitt.
