The bailout on Wall Street is a subject often discussed in the media; not just on politically oriented programming, but also in scripted series that deal with the country’s current recession.
Variety reports that George Clooney, along with Grant Heslov, will produce a film with this hot-button issue as its basis. The film will draw from Laura Blumenfeld’s famous Washington Post piece “The $700 Billion Man,” which focuses on Neel Kashkari of TARP.
Though a film about this topic could easily bore, it might end up taking us by surprise and provide a fascinating commentary on the situation. Furthermore, I’m curious who’ll step into the roles of Blumenfeld and Kashkari.
How do you feel about this film?
