The film is inspired by the House of Darkness House of Light and the Perron family who claimed they "lived among the dead" in the 1970s as spirits both friendly and sinister inhabited their Rhode Island farmhouse.
In the pic Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson star as supernatural investigators looking into the case of a family who claims their Rhode Island farmhouse is inhabited by spirits. Ron Livingston, and Lili Taylor will play the roles of Mr. and Mrs. Perron.
Mackenzie Foy Joey King McFarland and Caswell will play the couple's kids in the pic.
The screenplay is written by Chad Hayes and Carey Hayes from which James Wan will direct.
Peter Safran and Tony DeRosa-Grund are producing
Production begins on February 21st in North Carolina.; due to Wan‘s rep for a fast pace--A release might happen at the end of this year.
