Documentary helmer Brett Morgen ("The Kid Stays in the Picture") is set to make his dramatic directorial debut on the coming-of-age drama "When The Street Lights Go On" according to Deadline.
Eddie O'Keefe and Chris Hutton wrote the "Stand By Me"-esque Black List script which sees a teen boy who becomes obsessed with solving a murder case involving a young girl that has their sleepy suburban town in a panic in the summer of 1982.
Steve Golin, Chad Hamilton and Michael Sugar will produce the picture.
Production would take place next year.
