The film will serve as a companion piece to Scorsese's biopic of boxer Jake Lamotta as both a prequel and sequel to the events depicted in the award winning film.
Chris Anderson, Sharon McGehee and Lamotta's own recently published book "Raging Bull II" will serve as the basis for the project.
William Forsythe has been cast as Lamotta--taking over for Robert De Niro
Casting is said to be underway ahead of filming in June with Martin Guigui calling action from Rustam Branaman and Martin Guigui adapted script.
Dahlia Waingort David C. Traub Ron Singer Scott Reed Branaman and Guigui will produce this ill-gotten picture.
