Director David Gordon Green is now at work prepping his long in the works remake of Dario Argento’s 1977 horror classic "Suspiria" says Screen Daily
Green adapted the screenplay with Chris Gebert and this version follows an American exchange student in Europe who attends a school that acts as decoy for a sinister organisation.
Green assures fans that the new film will stick closely to the original - “It’s actually very faithful. I’m gonna put my spin on it, but in terms of a pitch, it’s going to remain quite faithful to [the original].”
Indeed Green has already acquired the rights to the Goblin Music Group's classic score from the film.
A September production start is now set.
