Oteri & Swardson Are Around For Grown-Ups 2

Cheri Oteri and Nick Swardson have joined the comedy "Grown Ups 2" says Variety.

The original film starred Adam Sandler, Kevin James David Spade, Chris Rock and Rob Schneider as five friends who reunite over the 4th of July weekend to attend their youth basketball coach's funeral. Maya Rudolph and Salma Hayek also starred.

In this installment David Henrie Taylor Lautner and Project X co-star Oliver Cooper are among a group of frat boys who run up against the original cast.

Swardson will play Schneider's brother, an alcoholic school bus driver. Oteri will play Sandler's ex-girlfriend from middle school.

Original helmer Dennis Dugan will return to call action again along with first film's scribe Fred Wolf doing the next screenplay.

Sandler and Jack Giarraputo are producing the sequel.

The movie will shoot later this year for a Summer 2013 release.

The first Grown Ups was Sandler's highest-grossing film worldwide at $271 million despite a majority of negative reviews.
