"Harry Potter film series" director David Yates has dropped out of doing "Your Voice in My Head" reports Deadline.
Emma Forrest's script is based on her own memoir and revolves around a young woman (Emma Watson) who, after the demise of her relationship with a nationally respected journalist, attempts suicide before being saved by a terminally ill psychiatrist (Stanley Tucci).
Yates reportedly vacated for personal reasons involving a family health situation. Yates and Watson wanted to postpone, but the were over ruled.
Alison Owen will produce the film.
At one point the studio was looking at big name stars to play the psychiatrist including Tom Hanks and George Clooney.
