Michael Cuesta will direct the movie that is based on the tragic tale of journalist Gary Webb who committed suicide after being denounced by the Central Intelligence Agency.
The script was written by Peter Landesman.
Scott Stuber, Renner, Don Handfield and Naomi Despres will produce the pic.
