Described as a "modern day fairytale" with suspense and fantasy noir elements weaved in, the story is set in a vanishing city where a single mother of two (Christina Hendricks) is "swept into a macabre and dark fantasy underworld while her teenage son discovers a secret road leading to an underwater town". The pair must solve the mystery if they're all to survive.
Smith's role is the male lead but specs are unknown
Eva Mendes will play 'Cat', a prominent figure of the Big Bad Wolf Club. Rob Zabrecky plays a cab driver.
