Bana plays an Irish Catholic cop working a case when he meets a renegade priest (Ramirez). Despite the cop’s beliefs, he’s convinced by the priest that there is a demonic element to said case. Together they work to solve it and combat the paranormal forces working against them.
Munn plays the cop’s wife, who also has a tie to the case.
"The Exorcism Of Emily Rose" director Scott Derrickson and co-writer Paul Harris Boardman will serve in the same capacities on this film.
Mark Wahlberg was previously offered the lead role but turned it down
Jerry Bruckheimer is set to produce the film.
Production begins on May 20th in the Bronx.
