Chloe Grace Moretz is in talks to join the film adaptation of author Gillian Flynn's novel "Dark Places" says Deadline.
Charlize Theron stars as Libby Day, who testified against her brother as the
murderer of their family. However, over a quarter of a century later and the
brother looks to have gained some followers in the form of the Kill Club.
Theron’s character is pushed to face her past as the group try to prove the
man’s innocence.
If Moretz signs onto the project, she would play a character
called Diondra
Amy Adams was in talks to star as the lead in May last year, but that is no longer the case.
Gilles Paquet-Brenner will direct from his adapted script.
Stéphane Marsil Peter Safran and Theron will produce the pic.
Moretz wil be seen next in the very-eagerly-anticipated Kick-Ass 2 which hits theaters this summer, on
August 16th and then she plays Carrie in the remake this Fall
