Tom Cruise will star in and produce the film with J.J. Abrams.
Productiobn hopes to begin shooting this Fall once Cruise wraps work on the lomg planned film adaptation of the 1960s spy TV series The Man from U.N.C.L.E..
MI5 is a priority for the studio in the wake of the just under $700 million worldwide earned by Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol
