THR reports that Godfather trilogy director Francis Ford Coppola is reportedly keen on making an as yet untitled film that will follow an Italian-American family from the 1930s to the
1960s.
Coppola is writing the screenplay, which is described as a coming-of-age
story that focuses on a boy and girl in their late teens.
Coppola has also setup offices at the Paramount Pictures lot for the film, but no
conversations have been held yet to determine whether the studio will be involved with
financing or distributing.
Courtney Bright and Nicole Daniels will star in the pic.
Fred Roos will produce.
