Bond 24: Producers Will Wait For Mendes!!!

Deadline reports that despite the fact that "Skyfall" helmer Sam Mendes had confirmed he's opted out of directing "Bond 24"--his name is still on the list of potententials.

Nicolas Winding Refn , Tom Hooper, David Yates and Shane Black were also mentioned. Christopher Nolan was approached to direct. But he is committed to "Interstellar"

In fact, the site says that talks have begun between Sam's reps and James Bond producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson. They are willing to wait for the helmer to complete work on his UK and Broadway release of the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Musical.

Star Daniel Craig’s excellent working relationshp with Sam also can not be denied and factors in.

Skyfall is the biggest movie in the James Bond franchise, thus far, grossing $1.1 billion worldwide.

John Logan is back to write the next one.
