RED 3 Already In The Works

Red 2 does not hit theaters until July 19th 2013 but its writers Jon and Erich Hoeber were hired to pen the script for Red 3 says Heat Vision.

Based on the Warren Ellis' three-issue comic book series, the original Red starring Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, John Malkovich, Brian Cox, Karl Urban Mary-Louise Parker and Morgan Freeman--saw over-the-hill special ops agents forced out of retirement. The 2010 film raked in an impressive $199 million worldwide at the box-office from a modest budget

Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian will return to produce the new pic.

If the script for the third film is approved, production could begin as early as January.
