Deadline says "Carlos" and "Summer Hours" filmmaker Olivier Assayas is set to make his first U.S.film debut on the crime
thriller "Hubris".
Inspired by Hillel Levin's article, the film follows a crew of thieves who rob a pawn shop and discover
it is a front for the most brutal crime boss in Chicago history, Tony Accardo.
Charles Gillibert, Scott Stuber, Alexandra
Milchan, and Scott Lambert are producing.
Shooting is slated to begin in the second quarter of 2014.
