Kate Angelo's script follows a suburban married couple Annie and Jay (Cameron Diaz and Jason Segel) who accidentally lose a sex tape they made to put the spark back in their love life. Annie, a blogger who writes about parenting, desperately wants to get it back.
Corddry will play a friend of the couple who joins them on the search.
Reese Witherspoon Amy Adams, Emily Blunt, Rose Byrne or Jennifer Garner were up for the role of Annie.
Bad Teacher director Jake Kasdan will call action here.
Nicholas Stoller ("Forgetting Sarah Marshall") was previously attached to direct but had to drop out due to scheduling issues.
Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch will produce the pic.
Production is looking to start in the fall.
Corddry and Diaz worked together on the comedy What Happens in Vegas.
