Trevorrow Chats About "Jurassic Park IV"...Again

Safety Not Guaranteed director Colin Trevorrow talked to the JP Podcast (via Bleeding Cool) to talk about "Jurassic Park IV". In doing so, he addressed some online rumors floating out there in cyberspace:

"I saw some of the rumors on the internet and I would have all kinds of red flags going off if I heard they were going to muzzle a T-Rex. So I would say don’t believe everything you read, there are way more insiders on the internet than there are in real life. It’s important to make a movie for the fans but I also have to remember that there’s a lot of people who just couldn’t care less and need me to make a solid case for why the hell there’s a 'Jurassic Park 4' in the first place and I want to make a movie for them too."

Originally slated for June 2014, the sequel was delayed due to further work being need on the super secret script by Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver (Rise of the Planet of the Apes)--not to mention an already too tight schedule. The sequel is now targeting a Summer 2015 release,

Steven Spielberg, who directed Jurassic Park and its sequel The Lost World: Jurassic Park, will executive produce here. Jurassic Park III was brought to the screen by Joe Johnston.

Frank Marshall will produce the dino sequel
